My Own Place - Chapter 12

                                       Location: Almere, Netherlands
                              Time: 10:30 PM, AD Year 2011
        Character(s): Leeuw Lee, Joseph (Leeuw's friend), Fuego Kozlov, Darius Kowalski, Fredrick Hofstede, Ella Lupei, Tendaji Bonhomme, Isa Kwan, Aaron Kwan, other students, Leo de Groot, Bende Van Bloed, the bullies.

     We kept going until we reached a fence. I wondered how we would get over, as the Dykstra family got over it easily. "Okay, it's my turn. Climb or retreat" I told myself, as I climbed the fence. Later a few others tried the same. A few minutes later, we got to the building where Bende van Bloed normally hid. "Okay, Joseph, you lure out the dogs. Ella, you lure out the cats. When they attack, I'll step in to protect you" Isa whispered.

     Joseph and Ella nodded, as they entered the building, and began making whimpering and growling noises. At the sound of that, the dogs began to bark while the cats began to hiss. "What is it, guys?" Leo growled. The dogs and cats allowed him to open the door, and standing there, were two kids. "Get them!" Leo commanded. The dogs and cats charged out at the kids on Leo's command. "Quick, Run!" Joseph called. Ella obeyed, as Joseph and Ella ran. The dogs and cats saw them as prey, but just as the dogs and cats were about to attack, Isa jumped in the way, so the animals ended up attacking her instead.

     Isa squealed in pain, while Ella called Animal Control. A few minutes later, Animal Control came to take all the dogs and cats away, while Isa was sent to the hospital. That's when the real Bende van Bloed came out. All the human members, along with their leader, whose name was Leo de Groot. Standing right beside the gang were, of course, the bullies. "We fight by Bende van Bloed, and we will always hate and hurt!" they roared. I was angered by their words, and commanded the group to attack. On my command, Fuego, Tendaji, Darius, Fredrick, Amanda and a few other students attacked.

     Joseph and Yuda, however, refused to attack. At first, I was confused, but fifteen minutes later, they came out, with Ange by their side. "Well Ange's missed a lot of school. I wonder how he will catch up" I grunted, firmly. "Me and Amanda will teach him over the summer. That's what Amanda did with me because I did terrible in grade 1" Joseph answered. I nodded, but then I commanded Joseph and his brothers to get back to the fight. They all nodded, joining Amanda in the fight. Even Ange, who was naturally so cowardly he would never fight a single battle, joined, and fought one of the bullies.

     That's when I saw the opportunity to face my real opponent, Leo de Groot. "Come at me! I'll rip you apart!" I roared. Leo, enraged, charged at me, I dodged just in time, but he turned. I jumped right at him and tackled him right over. "Yeah! Go Leeuw!" A bunch of women watching us fight cheered. At the sound of their cheers, I had the further motivation to fight. Leo, on the other hand, was so much stronger and faster than me. That's what put me at a disadvantage. I was so frustrated I wondered if I could ever beat him, but then I remembered that I could do anything if I put my heart to it.

     "And you're just a pathetic little brat!" Leo yowled. Angered, I bit him before he could even finish his sentence. "Leeuw, try grinding and clenching your teeth, and then moving around" Joseph advised me. I did as was told, and Leo already started to suffer quite a bit of damage. He, however, he stood his ground and began to beat me over and over again using a metal baseball bat. That's when I fell on the ground, trying to protect myself. I was so badly injured it was hard to get up, but Fuego snuck behind him and tackled him. She had to put her whole body weight on him so he wouldn't get up.

     Sadly, Leo was so powerful he punched her over. Meanwhile, the battle was very intense. Ella was wrestling with a gang member, while Ange was fighting about two of the male bullies with Yuda by his side. Joseph and Amanda were fighting the other two male bullies. Tendaji fought with the girl bully, while Aaron, Darius, and Fredrick were assisting other students in the fight against the gang in general. When I had the power to get up, Fuego left me alone, and I gave Leo a hostile glare.

     "You still wanna fight, kid?" he snarled. I nodded, determined to win. He began to charge and me, but I charged at him, opened my mouth as wide as I could, and gave him a cut. Leo still wouldn't back down, but neither did I. I watched him carefully, so when he tried to jump on me, I dodged quickly. Suddenly, he pulled out a gun from his pocket. I snarled, and ran around him, while he tried to shoot me. Suddenly, I jumped up, tackled him, and scratched his face constantly using my nails.

     Finally, Leo was hurt. He wasn't hurt bad enough, though, so I had to find a way to attack him again. This time, I was assisted by my formal rival, Fuego, and the older student, Aaron. All three of us surrounded him and attacked, but after a quick hit, Fuego and Aaron retreated. I got Leo pinned to the ground, and that's when I began to punch him and hit him constantly. I became so feral I wasn't even aware of the fact I had a diaper rash. That's when Leo grabbed me by the diaper and slammed me against the wall.
